8th Anniversary/Holiday Party

The Vals celebrated the holidays at our 8th Anniversary party, held December 9th at the Embassy Suites/ Airport.  It was a classy affair, with enough sequins and rhinestones to easily live up to Nashville's reputation. (Many country music performers expressed jealousy.)

With more than 50 in attendance--including Vals, friends of the Vals, dates, spouses and confused hotel patrons--this years party was our biggest ever.  Our guest speaker, legendary Nashville performer Bianca Paige, was presented with our "Transie Award" for her work in the community. Our fearless leader, Holly Storm, was presented with the "I've Busted Down the Door and I'm Not Going Back in the Closet Award" (a.k.a. the Golden Doorknob Award).  And a surprised Marisa Richmond, an original founder of the T-Vals was presented with a special "Lifetime Achievement Award".
