During the Year 2002

The Vals join many others to celebrate Mardi Gras at the Gas Light Lounge (8th Avenue) on February 9th. A star-studded cast of performers entertained.  The party was a fundraiser for Nashville's Rainbow Center.

The Vals return to The Gaslight in late February for our second and, we promise, FINAL fundraiser.  Tony Tanner and Cosmonaut Bob entertained.  The rest of us were merely festive and fabulous.

The girls go glam for this year's Spectrum party April 27th at the Loews Vanderbilt Plaza.  Formerly the Night in White, they ditched the white theme this year for the Nashville Cares benefit.  Luckily, some of us had something other than white gowns in our closets.  

Another Annual tradition is our August Cookout.  The air is filled with the unmistakable aroma of grilled hotdogs, burgers, and---what is that unappealing odor?  It must be charcoal starter fluid.  Oh, sorry, Marisa; I didn't recognize your new perfume. 

September signals the annual migration of Vals who fly (and drive) South to Atlanta for the Southern Comfort Conference.  Join the Vals, and several hundred of their friends, during this year's festivities...
