During the Year 2001

The Vals' s first fundraiser, held July 27th at the Gaslight Lounge (8th Avenue) in Nashville.  The wonderful vocalist  Julia Robinson performed, along with the Vals' own Pamela Degroff and Rachell Willhite (under the alias 'Cosmonaut Bob').

The Vals hosted a party in honor of the film Southern Comfort, which showed at the Nashville Independent Film Festival on June 7th.  We gathered at the Gas Light prior to the film's showing and welcomed out of town guests who were here for the showing.

The Night in White is an annual fundraiser party in support of Nashville Cares.  This year it was held April 28 at the ritzy Loews Vanderbilt Hotel .  Yes, we were there.  What--and pass up a chance to wear glamour-length nails?    

Our Marisa and Stephanie headed north in April for this year's IFGE convention just outside of Chicago. BTW, Nashville will be home to the convention in 2002.  Here they are schmoozing with the movers, shakers and partiers of the Windy City...
