It was a dark and stormy night.  OK, so actually it was partly cloudy and really quite comfortable with low humidity. The moon was out; it was orange and quite lovely.  Nevertheless, the Vals celebrated with their annual creepy Halloween costume party.  Proceed---at your own risk!  Yee-heh-heh-Ha-ha-ha-ha...

Who knew ghosts wore contacts?

An annual Halloween tradition in Nashville is the Bitches' Ball, held this year at the Gaslight Lounge.  It's an AIDS fundraiser, and an outlandish camp drag show, with the winner (?) crowned Bitch of the Year. Naturally, we were there.  A few of us even went out on Halloween night....
